What is Values?

Values is a decentralized platform for the evaluation and compensation of contributions in online communities — and the on-chain machinery behind the Values index. It comes together in three parts: the Protocol, the DAO, and the Ecosystem.

One system, three moving parts — contracts that move value, a DAO that governs it, and a community that builds on top.

01The Protocol

The Values Protocol is a set of smart contracts deployed across multiple blockchain networks, including Ethereum and Polygon. These contracts communicate through cross-chain messaging to facilitate ERC-20 token transfers between chains.

02The DAO

The Values DAO is a governance structure that empowers community members through the VALUES token, enabling participation in treasury management and decisions about the rewards system.

03The Ecosystem

The Values Ecosystem is a developer community building applications on the Values Protocol — web and mobile interfaces, partner events, and trading opportunities across exchanges.
